One week post micro on my arm for keratosis pilaris (KP aka those stubborn little bumps I’ve struggled with for years) Honestly, I’ve avoided sleeveless clothes because I’ve never felt comfortable with how my skin looks.
Last week I finally took the step to do something about it with @australianskinclinics (who I’ve trusted for nearly 10 years!). My consult with Liz was so thorough, starting with a skin analysis and customised treatment plan.
For my first treatment we did a diamond microdermabrasion, starting off with a cleanse, then the micro, followed by a soothing mask with steam and finishing off with oil and balm to lock it all in.
I even took the same products home because aftercare is everything (you can do all the treatments in the world, but without the right care at home, you won’t see the results).
I’ll need roughly 6 treatments to get my skin where I want it to be, but I’m already feeling hopeful and so glad I started this journey. Swipe to the last pic and you’ll see how much my skin has improved within in a week from just using the products at home.m post treatment, also one of the biggest tips that I was told was being mindful when exfoliating because it can damage you skin in the long run!

If you grew up in an ethnic household, you already know… 😂
A tea towel wasn’t just for drying dishes. It was basically the most versatile thing in the kitchen. 🤣

Opening stubborn jars? ✅
Chasing flies out of the house? ✅
Protecting your hands from hot pots? ✅
Drying literally everything? ✅

To this day, I still can’t open a jar without reaching for a tea towel first, but apparently there’s many other ways, so tell me what your method is?

The hallway deserves mood lighting ✨

You know when one little thing completely changes the feel of a space?
