Hi All! I am so very excited to announce that I will have a solo exhibit at Taller Puertorriqueño for their 50th anniversary! This is such a special one for me. Taller gave me my first opportunity as a young artist and that one opportunity changed the trajectory of my life. I was 19 years old and 4 months pregnant. I have so much love for this institution. This year I too will be celebrating my 50th and am honored that they extended this invitation to share some of my work. OPENING RECEPTION APRIL 12 6:00 P.M. https://tallerpr.org/events/callresponse_opening/ @tallerpr taken in Taller Puertorriqueño by @bzcasanas

Wow!!! Last night was so overwhelmingly beautiful! Thank you to everyone who came and those there in spirit! The place was filled with folks from just about every aspect and stage of my life! Family and friends who grew up with me, musicians, writers, artists, activists, teachers and poets out there doing incredible works, students I taught throughout the years, professors and mentors who I hold with love close to my heart and of course my parents and children. Today I can’t stop smiling at the show of love and support felt at my first home as an artist @tallerpr Thank You!! The Call and Response exhibit will be up until the end of May! P.S. if you were curious all work is for sale! 🌸❤️🌸 thank you @bklathrop for this video!! by @bzcasanas

Te invitamos a conocerlo durante tu próxima visita a Saffra Cowork. taken in ILA San Juan by @bzcasanas
