Family is so important in early years. My sister has and still does try to keep me in line (I was and still am the naughty little sister). Sadly our dad died, suddenly, when I was 11 and my sister 17. Karen immediately became to other significant adult in my life 💓.
We now have our own families and live miles apart (Birmingham and Paignton) but we are still there for each other and our children and our children's children. In our family we have foster children and ALL our family are there for them.
Remember every family is unique!
Build memories, laughter, hugs, love but remember sadness is allowed and should be expressed.
So pleased that a person of stature and known personalities are highlighting Early Years, after working in that area for 33 years it's great to see it's impact being highlighted
