POSTS STORIES REELS

To our precious baby Hannah Eliora 💜 You were a light from the very beginning and the weight of your absence has felt so heavy.

As we’ve worshipped through the darkness and sought solace in the Lord, we are reminded of His goodness and mercy, and most importantly right now, His presence.

I read these encouraging words today:
“Keep walking in faithfulness.
Allow yourself to let your tears flow.
Get on your knees at the altar.
Trust Jesus when your season looks grim.
[…]
Trace God’s hands when you need hope.”

There has been no shortage of tears. Facing your loss has not been easy.

The dream of you echoes in our everyday.

But He is with us in the hurt and holding you all the while.

We can only dream on this side of eternity about the warmth and magnificence of the Light you now live in with Jesus.

You will always be our little sunbeam ☀️

And until we meet again, we will keep tracing His hands. by @c.smithbey.82

At first glance, this might look like a pile of toys my son forgot to clean up.

Look closer… and you’ll see a dinosaur proudly standing on top of his creation. 🦖

In his mind? This was a victory scene.

And honestly… your business finances might feel the opposite of that right now.

More like a random pile of “stuff” with no idea how it all fits together… no intention, no order, no peace.

And if you don’t know where you stand, it’s almost impossible to know where to start.

But once you do?

That’s when you can start building your own “victory scene.”

Later this month, I’m hosting a workshop on biblical stewardship—how to find your starting point, ditch the overwhelm, and make confident, God-honoring financial decisions (yes… before Q4 ends 😅).

Because that financial mess will start to make sense… once you know where to begin.

Some days, work looks like a mini break at my desk to help my super hero boy and his spider friends thwart the artifact-stealing plans of Doc Ock and her robots in the museum 🦸‍♂️🥰

I wouldn’t have it any other way because the mission matters most. IYKYK

my son said I’m special to him because I’m his mommy and I’m not sure I’ve ever received a more beautiful compliment 🥲💓 by @c.smithbey.82

On this Resurrection Sunday, I pray that the magnitude and majesty of our great and mighty God finds a moment to rest in your heart.

“Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to His great mercy has caused us to be born again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead” 1 Peter‬ ‭1‬:‭3‬ ‭ by @c.smithbey.82

I’m honored to have been chosen for the panel this year alongside two other successful women in business from the Bridgeton Area Chamber of Commerce. If you are local, I’d love to see you at the Frightened Turtle Winery this coming Tuesday, March 18th 5-7pm.

slow mornings are my favorite.
coloring, building, talking, learning.

here’s what I learned:
1. the sun shines so gently through this window as it rises
2. it’s hard to color hand lettering words with a toddler tornado in motion
3. my son can build just about anything with a few blocks and his imagination
4. hide Scripture in your heart for when you need it (spoiler: you will always need it) by @c.smithbey.82

ONE. rainbows and hair bows. random giggles and spontaneous tickles. all-day cuddles and mid-night snuggles.

it feels like yesterday we were waiting on your arrival and simultaneously like you were always here. you warm our hearts, encourage us to dream, and remind us that time is fleeting.

Our belle Evangeline, our Joy, our ray of sunshine, our triple rainbow, our not yet in the now.

🙌🏻 The 2024 homestretch is here! 🙌🏻

As we reflect on the year and prepare for 2025, it’s a beautiful time to seek God’s wisdom and guidance for our businesses. Here are some steps to help you close the year with confidence:

✅ Reflect prayerfully on your goals. Celebrate the ways God has blessed your efforts, learn from challenges, and seek His direction for the year ahead.
✅ Steward your finances well. Reconcile accounts, categorize transactions, and ensure your books are accurate for tax season.
✅ Follow up on unpaid invoices. Doing so helps maintain good stewardship over the resources God has entrusted to you.
✅ Seek wise counsel. Schedule time with your bookkeeper or accountant to ensure your financials are ready for year-end reporting and to honor God in how you manage your business.
✅ Celebrate and give thanks. Rejoice in all the ways God has worked through you and your business this year! 🎉

🎯 What’s one way you’re inviting God into your plans for December? Let’s inspire each other to finish the year strong, aligned with His purpose. 💛
