We are so excited for our first ever BJJ INTENSIVE CAMP! For this week-long camp, we will focus on competition-style training including technique, drills, strength training, conditioning and mobility work. In addition to working with our Coaches, we will be bringing in International Competitive Athletes from Action Reaction to work with the team. We will also visit the acrobatics and soccer development facilities in our plaza for some relevant cross-training!

July 13–17, $380 plus hst but prices go up tomorrow, book your spot today!

This week in our kids classes we are working on guard passes: knee cut for beginners, step back and leg drag for advanced. Repetition is key so we will practice this all week and then build upon it next week. by @c10bjj

ibjjf worlds 🥈🥇💜

today i competed in the world championship. i went 5-1 getting silver in my division and gold in the absoloute division. i also earned my purple belt! thank you so much for everyone who has helped me over the last few months. you guys push me everyday to get better. thank you to my coach alvaro for always being there for me, and making my dreams possible. and thank you for my parents who always help me get where i am. this has been my dream since i started jiu jitsu, and i’m happy i was able to make my younger self proud. thank you to my sponsors, friends, coaches, and training partners for all you do. see you in the purple belt division 💜 taken in Walter Pyramid LBSU by @c10bjj

We got recognized last night at the Simcoe Muskoka Catholic District School Board Celebrating Excellence event.
They gave us an award for our performance in BJJ at the provincial and national level.
Thanks to our club Camisa Dez @c10bjj and coach @alvarohanser for all the support.
It was great to see our tough competitor @maxr_bjj get recognized as well!

Our beautiful facility is your home away from home. In Barrie’s south-end, our facility holds a complete Jiu Jitsu program, as well as personal training and group fitness classes led by GRIT Fitness. We have a comfortable lounge area for parents, spacious locker rooms and changing areas, coffee, tea and snacks for purchase, two bathrooms and two showers!

Our Tatami Jiu Jitsu mats lay on a custom ‘sprung’ subfloor system built on foam blocks and plywood. Designed to enhance safety and performance, you gain a responsive surface that cushions impact far better than concrete or wood alone. Comfortable benches line the walls for parents to watch classes.

In the back of the unit we have a fully equipped gym that is available to our members during scheduled ‘open gym’ time. Additionally, GRIT Fitness offers group classes during KIDS BJJ classes for parents that want to workout while their kids train! In this space we also offer supplemental training for our KIDS BJJ PRO members that would like to complement their BJJ training with strength and conditioning and striking classes. by @c10bjj
