Post Tahoe trip report:

1. I am now five pounds heavier and five shades darker after being a beach bum and living off of tallboys and homemade pizza for three days.

2. I am slightly less scared of deep water.

Rowed my little heart out at WIRAs and dilly dallied in Sacramento this last weekend.

Accidentally spent $17 on three pieces of fudge (still mad about that), came in second to UCLA (still more mad about the fudge thing), and sold my soul at the 1200m mark.

Did some wicked racing with @uscmensrowing at San Diego Crew Classic! It's an honor to sit in a boat with some of who I believe to be the most skilled novice oarsmen in California, if not on the entire west coast. I look forward to beating UCLA and OCC so bad that they regret ever touching an oar in a few weeks😈

The hick in the first slide convinced me to drop $410 on an RC rock crawler and it turned out to be money well spent. Rolled it more times than I can count and scratched the bejeezus out of it. I've owned it for less than 48 hours and it's nearly destroyed. Here's hoping I keep blowing my paychecks on toys so I can never save up enough money to buy a real rock crawler. I already posted this to my story but I figured it might warrant being a post. Five plate deadlift (495 pounds). Hopefully I'll post a six-plate lift soon if I stay disciplined and train lower body😅 by @c2theleb

Rode Side-by-sides with the McGillen clan today. It was my first time ever driving a side-by-side offroad. By some stroke of otherworldly luck, I didn't tip my Polaris over and careen off of a cliff to by death, so that's sort of a neat thing. by @c2theleb
