Known throughout the Japanese drift scene, this is the iconic Car Modify Wonder D1GP Laurel, built and driven by Takashi Haruyama, the founder of Car Modify Wonder. With its bold presence and long-running participation in D1GP, it became one of the few C35s to consistently represent in pro drifting from 2006 to 2023.Powered by a stroked RB27DET (based on an RB26), the engine setup includes a single top-mount turbo, Tomei pistons, Rising rods, Nismo Heritage crank, and HKS cams, all managed by an HKS F-CON V Pro. Supporting mods include a SARD fuel rail, Blitz front-mount intercooler, HPI radiator, and an extended sump with an oil filter relocation kit.Drivetrain and chassis are just as serious — an OS Giken cross gear set in an R33 transmission, DG-5 coilovers, Wysteria knuckles, and a full roll cage. The interior is stripped and focused, featuring Car Modify Wonder bucket seats, steering wheel, and safety additions like a fire extinguisher and battery relocation.Visually, the car runs the full Car Modify Wonder Shadow Aero kit, including the front bumper, side skirts, rear bumper, and signature rear wing.
