Ford Mustang Gen 3 – 2XXX WHP 2020

This Mustang Gen 3 previously produced 2,031 wheel horsepower (WHP) in its former setup and achieved an impressive 7.3-second quarter-mile pass.

For clarification the 2,031 WHP figure and the 7.3-second quarter-mile pass were achieved on the previous setup when the car was running the factory ECU factory suspension smaller turbochargers a different turbo system and significantly more weight than it carries today.

Since then the car has undergone extensive upgrades including larger turbochargers a completely different turbo system a complete electrical and electronics overhaul significant weight reduction replacement of the factory ECU with a FuelTech FT600 and numerous other improvements throughout the build.

The car has not yet been tuned or dyno tested following the latest round of upgrades so no updated performance figures are currently available.

Those familiar with these platforms and the scope of the work carried out will understand that the current setup is substantially different from the previous one and has significantly greater potential.

Friday Testing at @jamboree_official , front wheels up early let off. Thursday testing the car went a 7.8 with 2 peddles before half track and still managing to do a sub 5 second time to the 1/8th
