Gosh, this car cleans up so nicely. I have pictures in my camera roll from 2015, 2016, and 2017 of c5’s - especially ones in red. I can’t help but feel a little self pride every time I look at it, even more now that it’s boosted and has a nice big brake kit.

After months of these sitting on my kitchen table, I decided it was time to put them on. Painted the calipers with a red epoxy based paint that ended up matching the torch red pretty well. They stop and look amazing. For around $400 this is a no brainer. Highly recommend. Also, huge shoutout to my friend @b_scudder for letting it sit in his garage while the spacers got delivered 🤣

GAT ‘25

It sucks to see such an awesome event ruined by people who think takeovers, climbing on top businesses, and fighting are ok. It’s most likely the last year of gat, and we just found the best bnb. 20 minutes to the strip, far enough away to not hear the bs from the strip, but not too far it’s a trek to get there… til next time.

Plans finally made it out the group chat Immediately after supercharging the vette, I drove it 10 hours to Kentucky for a 4th of July get together. Besides a little coolant temp scare because of a stuck water bottle in my air dam, it didn’t skip a beat. Build your car right and drive the damn thing. by @c5.henry

This past month I decided to finally tackle the A&A kit. Overall - not that difficult. Just lots of time. I did it on jack stands in a 10 foot wide storage unit, wasn’t the funnest but I got it done. Happy to say it put down 525whp thanks to the guys at Blazing High Performance. If anyone is in the triangle (NC) and needs anything LS related, they are the people to see. by @c5.henry

Buy the right car. Starting to tear into this thing and I can say with complete confidence that working on a car with low miles is 10x more enjoyable than struggling on high mileage crapper. The front lowering bolts were a little more than hand tight, most people strip them. the tie rod came right out after taking off the nut, most people have to beat it with a hammer. Not a single stripped bolt or any complications. Buy the right car. Now with that being said I’m only about 50% done with the project and knock on wood, but so far, it’s been going great. Just realized I never got around to posting this. This was me playing around with AI photo extension and tooling around in light room once I had the picture where I liked it. Pretty shot and edit if I say so myself.

Finally got the bezels in for the sleepy eyes. They fit good, not great.

At the time of purchase they were about $100 which was well worth it to me to complete the look, and fill the void in the bumper when the lights were up. Now they are almost $200 shipped… I’ll let you make that decision for yourself.

I love the way the lights and bezels look. But the quality is just not there for me, waiting on someone else to tackle the sleep headlights I suppose.
