🧡 The Legends Run – Running Alongside Truth & Reconciliation 🧡

We are incredibly grateful to the Edmonton Islamic Academy students, staff, and families for their amazing efforts through The Legends Run, held alongside Truth and Reconciliation Day.

Through this meaningful initiative, students raised $2,000 and collected groceries to support C5 and our community food bank.

The Legends Run was about more than fundraising — it was an opportunity for young people to come together, learn, give back, and show what community and reconciliation can look like through action.

We are honoured that C5 was chosen as the beneficiary and incredibly thankful to everyone who participated, donated, and supported this initiative.

🧡 Truth. Reconciliation. Community. Action.

🧡 Thank You to Our Community 🧡

Today, we came together in recognition of Truth and Reconciliation a time to listen, learn, reflect, remember, and honour.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who joined us and took the time to be present in this important space.

We are especially grateful to our amazing staff and volunteers who helped prepare and serve the food, welcome our community, and make today meaningful. Your time, care, and support made this gathering possible. 🧡

As we continue on the path toward reconciliation, may we remember that this work goes beyond one day. We honour the children who never made it home, the Survivors, their families, and generations still impacted by residential schools.

Every Child Matters. Today and every day. 🧡
