LONG POST INCOMING! Tomorrow I graduate college, something I’ve been feeling a lot of mixed emotions about this week. It oddly doesn’t feel real but yet I’ve never felt more ready in my life. I’ve worked so hard over these last four years and accomplished so much so I felt it right to reflect on where I started. 10 years ago little 12 old Carter took a big risk and did something that would lead him down a path full of so much joy and endless opportunities. The second picture is the very first headshot I ever took from the first musical I did, Beauty and the Beast. I can still vividly remember how exciting it was to be in a show for the first time and how happy it made me in a very transformative part of my life. Theatre has always been a place of comfort for me and the more I’ve learned and continued to perform the more that love grows. If you would’ve told me four years ago everything that I’ve done in college I would’ve laughed at you and told you that you were crazy. I’m so so blessed with what I’ve learned over these last few years and I’ve grown so much not only as a person but as an artist. I’m so beyond ready to go out into the world and give it all I’ve got. I seriously could not have done any of this without the support of my friends, the faculty here, and most importantly my family❤️. taken in Dobbins Conservatory at SEMO by @c9hendrickson

Moving Perspectives 2025!! - Dangerous Liaisons👠💃 This piece was sort of a passion project of mine and from day one I knew I would have my work cut out for me. I could not have asked for a better choreographic debut and my dancers are rockstars who picked up my choreo so quick and also looked AMAZING while performing it as well!! I truly could not have done this without my dancers or without the input from the lovely Eden Hildebrand.
