Every golfer, EVERY, should understand what causes the ball to start in a direction before it curves. This should be a non-negotiable.

I’m often amazed at how many golfers don’t understand the “why’s” of basic things regarding ball flight laws, or why a players ball does X, sometimes I think we’ve done a real disservice to golfers.

This exercise is one of the first things I do with any new group I meet because it can be eye opening!

This was with a new group of golfers from a few weeks back. I believe certain basic education is necessary for so many before even diving in to “their why” and what change they may need to implement.

For example if you think the path (I say swing direction at times because it’s easier for some to understand) starts the ball you can get really crossed up!

A little bit of block practice working on full swing and wedges after a full day of teaching. Using trackman and cameras as my main feedback. #feedbackisking Any thoughts on what I’m working on?
