I’m a dad all in his feelings today! Carson’s last day of Pre-K. I’m happy because we get to save money weekly 🤣, but sad because time is flying by. Then I look at Sophia and she is growing even faster it seems. The days are long, but the years are short! by @c_json_

‘Must be nice.’

I hear/see that when people see the travel, the freedom, the tangible items, the things that come with years of effort. Honestly… it is nice, but what most people don’t see are the behind the scenes that made it possible. They don’t see the late nights/early mornings when everyone else was relaxing or sleeping, the sacrifices, the missed time with my wife and kids, the stress, and the discipline it took to stay consistent when quitting would’ve been easier.

Success always looks simple from the outside. But the reality is that every ‘must be nice’ moment is built on years of choices most people saying it aren’t willing to make.

Yesterday, on one of my days off from my main job, I woke up at 3:15 in the morning. I flew to Orlando, FL at 5:00 a.m. Met my dad to clean another asphalt tank by 8:00. Busted my a** for 4 hours, then caught a plane back to Nashville so I could be home with my family. All in one day.

The Perks: Double Income For Financial Freedom, “Time Spent” with my Father, a good workout, and Providing for my Wife and Kids.

The Negatives: Missed Baseball Practice, Missed Bike Ride with Kids, Missed Opportunity To Make Memories with my Family.

My kids don’t see it yet, but when they are going on another vacation, receiving a present, going out to eat, coming home to a beautiful home, and making more memories, they will start to understand those missed nights and certain weekends. I do it ALL for my wife and kids, and I won’t stop until my job here is done. by @c_json_
