Year 3 in the books :)

What a summer.

One of the greatest things from this summer was watching God provide.

God provided an amazing staff of 24 college/high school students who poured out all summer.

God provided us with over 1,000 registrations from all of our camps, events, and life groups.

God provided every single day an opportunity for me along with my staff the ability to be able to teach the future generation how to be courageous with their faith in Jesus.

Over the summer, I began to look for how God was moving within our organization, the more I looked for God in our daily activities, I began to notice his strong grip on our success.

From the smiles on the kiddos, to the endless laughs, to the numerous salvation stories, to the stories of transformation amongst the kiddos, volunteers, and the staff, to everything we have done this summer, it all only possible due to God's willingness to love us, his willingness to provide for us, and his willingness to use us.

I am so beyond thankful for how God has been able to use me. Beyond thankful for my amazing staff, beyond thankful for all the amazing donors, and beyond thankful for all the people who have been and are helping us in our journey.

This is still just the beginning, God has big plans for Courage, and I can't wait to simply learn to love Him more every single day :) by @c_lark1

What a Summer!

Sometimes in this world, we think that we can’t make a difference because of some flaw we possess, or a mistake that we have made, or even because of a disability that we have. This concept is driven by FEAR, and when we let fear control our lives, we will never be able to achieve our dreams.

HOWEVER, when we put our trust in God, He conquers that fear and He empowers us to make a difference in this dark dark world.

This summer at Camp Courage, we had 390 registrations, 204 individual kids and over 110 families that we were able to serve! And man did we have a blast. Whether it was swimming in the creek, hunting for snakes, playing duck duck goose, or even making up a random treasure hunt to kill time, every second of Camp was a blast! The ability to wake up every day and know that I would have the opportunity to teach kids, make them laugh and smile, and most importantly show them the love of Jesus, is the greatest thing ever! The countless memories that were made this summer will forever be stored in my heart.

I want all of you to know it was not me who made this camp successful, God provided for us every single day and He deserves the glory.
Jesus used me to make a difference, despite my flaws and my sins, Jesus empowered me to make a difference. And to anyone who is reading this: I want you to know this. Jesus does not care how bad of a person you are, or how often you sin, He still LOVES you!! He wants to empower you to make a difference as well.
Camp Courage 2021 was truly amazing, and I want to thank all of my amazing counselors for helping this summer be fantastic and for coming every day with the energy to love on our campers :)
