It is with absolute heartbreak that I share the sudden passing of my dad this week. It is hard to write eloquently when my heart is so broken. He is one of the most important people in my life, and I truly cannot imagine a world where he is not in it. His influence on me, the people he loved, and the scientific community has made life on earth a better place. I am SO proud to be his daughter. I know he is watching over us from heaven, smiling with his parents by his side. May he rest in the peace he spent a lifetime helping others find.
