I am honestly so lost for words at how incredible yesterday was. I’m still riding the high and I’m not sure when I’ll come back down to earth 👽

I’m blown away by the support of everyone that made the last 1111 Club of summer and I’ll be doing a proper thank you post very soon, but for now, just look at these incredible pics that reflect the pure JOY we were all feeling.

It was fucking beautiful. My heart is so very full 🥹

I am beyond excited to announce that we are partnering up with Voices Radio to bring you a one hour net special with none other than Rebekah Abdeen 🦠

Rebekah is a London based dj and producer bringing her own emotionally charged take on hardgroove, breaks and basss. She is an inspiring and powerful figure in the UK underground scene and has played from Glasto and Fabric to clubs all across Europe, US - and Australia which is where we met.

I’m going to be talking to Rebekah about the bit before the bio you’ve just read. net, as always, aims to bring you a glimpse of what the reality is before the hard work begins to pay off, and the mindset that people have to reach their dreams. It’s important to see the hard work, inspirations, pinnacle moments of change, dedication and learnings that comes before the achievements you see today. I hope you love it :)

The show is on the 3rd October, 7pm UK time - but never fear Sydney (or wherever you are in the world), it will be available to you afterwards to listen back - more to come. by @caaaaatch25

Before 1111 Fest, Catch25 messaged me on Instagram, introduced herself and offered to help in any way she could, and we’d never even met.

She came along to the festival with some of her pals, introduced herself properly and told me she was also a DJ, and we’ve struck up a lovely little friendship ever since.

Yesterday she came round for a little B2B on the decks and it created some really fun and unexpectedly interesting musical moments (see the last slide) 😂

And that’s exactly what you can expect when we play together at The Fighting Cocks on 20th September: two new mates, no rigid plan and absolutely no idea where the music might take us.

Very happy that she and DJ Chris Clifford will be joining me for our last STA summer dance! 🌞

This is what the 1111 Club is all about. Who knows the connections you might make. I’m very grateful to have met so many wicked people through all of this 🥰

thank you to @duzndontz @webstersbarnewtown for immediately saying yes to my very dramatic leaving drinks idea as soon as I found out I was leaving. you put the trust in me to curate a whole night across two floors and I am very grateful for that, and with that THANKS HEAPS to the incredible lineup we had all night long …

It’s also where I did my very first radio show before I even knew how a cue button worked. I loved this set, it was comprised of all the songs that reminded me of you, of sydney, and of home. all at once.
