Quick Story:
One day on my way to work back in 2002 walking down Spring St. in NYC.
I walked past a book store and I saw this book in the window so of course I went in to buy it.
I was working at a printing company at the time with my Dad, there were two locations one was for the Offset Printing that’s where I worked and the other location did Xerox, Blueprints and book binding.
I stopped in the Xerox location and was talking to one of the guys that worked there who was also a photographer. When I went up to the counter he was talking to a tall gentleman wearing glasses.
He introduced me to him and when he said the gentleman’s name I was like hold up!!!
Jamel Shabazz that did the book Back In The Days?!
Yup!
I was like, I just bought your book on my way here this morning!!!
He was really cool and Down to earth!
He was kind enough to sign the book for me too!
“Always Stay Focused “
Make sure to check Jamel Shabazz and his work💪🏼

📻 Digging in Madrid!
