Heavily patinaed, slender steel elements interact with near black, flexible plywood to create a chair that looks hard and uncompromisingly modern, but flexes and contours to the body.

The idea for the chair back stemmed from testing hand hammering techniques to modify my drumkit cymbals. The back and frame are chemically blackened and then oiled which will wear and patina further over time.

Saved a mismatched set of replica Marcel Breuer ‘Cesca’ chairs from the scrapyard. I'm hyped on the reimagined version. And only took 10+ hours of shop labour per chair. Christ.

Hyped with the finishes on this one. Classic references without becoming themed.

We worked with long time mate/protege/collaborator James Brown on these Blackbutt slatted, Tallowwood trunked bench seats. They'll do your back in, no stress.

Some elegant Shoji screens designed by Kristen and built by close mate, protege and almost-family member, James. Transformed some ugly as sin west facing glazing into the feature of the space. On behalf of us all here, you're welcome.

We don't mind a bit of dramatic detail here and there. This one is no exception.

These sleepers were 50 years old and hard as the hobs of hell. Absolute battle to sculpt these into final form.

Worked really closely with the @farragointeriors crew on this one. They always do a great job, are flexible and keen to realise my vision. They don't even get the shits when I make things myself!
