There is something very powerful about seeing a man in rope. Not because he looks strong. But because for a moment, he doesn’t have to.

He can stop performing control.
Stop holding everything together.

He can receive.
He can trust.
He can breathe.
He can be uncertain, exposed, emotional, quiet, playful, soft.

And none of that makes him less masculine.

If anything, I think it takes a huge amount of strength to allow yourself to be seen without armor.

This is one of the things I love about tying men. The body is different, yes.
The shapes are different.
The way I move them, support them, adjust positions - all of that can be different.

But emotionally, the interesting part is often this:
What happens when someone who is used to being strong allows himself to be held? What happens when he doesn’t need to know what comes next?
What happens when he can surrender some control without losing himself?

To me, vulnerability in rope is not weakness. It is the reason we get tied. We want to feel vulnerable, so we can trust, and actually let go.
It is trust.
It is courage.
It is presence.

And sometimes the strongest thing a man can do is stop trying to look strong for a while ;)
Not sure if there is any scenario that @caballeroedson doesn't look strong, but we tried 🫣. by @caballeroedson

Lumberjack adventures #2
(Sound on!)
Chopping wood feels so much like sledgehammering the stakes into the ground to put up the circus big top. 😆 taken in The Forest by @caballeroedson

I’ve never been to Burning Man… but I imagined myself there. 🔥
These images are fictional — a little experiment blending my circus world with the madness, art and magic of Black Rock City.
You know I would be doing all those stuff there right? 😆
