CABARAVE IS TURNING NINE ON APRIL 4th!!! 🤗

And what a 9 years it’s been, from humble beginnings on Wednesday nights at The Volks to mansions, theatres, boats and fields. It’s been a real journey and one which we hope has brought YOU as much joy as us.

We want to celebrate what Cabarave means for YOU, please comment or message us with your favourite moments, acts and the things that make Cabarave a special event, it really means the world to us to hear!

We’re excited to go back to where it all began on April 4th the amazing @volksnightclub- Cabarave only exists because this underground venue took a chance on creatives wanting to try something different!

👻 Cabarave Scary Tales Line up Launch👻

The heroine of our scary tale is the songstress EVA LAZARUS. A long time favourite sorceress of ours its a pleasure to have her back for this auspicious date. We welcome to our story for the first time delicious fresh meat from PETE BENNETT, RUMANA THE BIMBO, EQUIFOX and PINK OCTOPUS. With returning hauntings from the witch from outer space GABA GHANOUSH, Cabarave’s monster DJ CAN’T SAY NO and BIG DOUG.

We’ve summoned the tricksiest cabaret ghouls and goblins with performances from HILDEBRAND, BITSY BOO, TEAM MUD, with host MALESMICENT.

The underbelly of the club will be kept bubbling away with a FAIRYTOPIA takeover!

With walkabout and immersive fright from THE CABARAVERS, fortune-telling tarot from GRANNY’S ASTROLOGY and gorey makeup from SOPHIE GLEW.

Begin your Halloween weekend with a frighteningly good lineup of music, cabaret and performance at Cabarave! Tickets from Skiddle, link in our bio ⬆️

Cabarave: Scary Tales 🫣📖🧚‍♂️

Once upon a time, in a club not so far, far away…

A celebration was proclaimed to honour the turning of the season, on the night where the veil between life and death runs thin. And so, Cabarave would return to The Volks Nightclub for its annual Halloween séance…

Bearing gifts of magical cabaret performances, dark decor and powerful villains taking to the decks. Fairies, goblins, monsters and maidens will dress to disgust, intrigue and mesmerise…

A spellbinding prophecy has been foretold of a night of epic proportions. Mirror mirror on the wall, will Cabarave live happily ever after all?

Tickets to the fairest Halloween party of them all now live! Link in our bio for those who dare ⬆️

Big up @cabarave for their amazing event Filthy Gorgeous, part of the @brightonfringe at @spiegelgardens. What a super salacious party!

What a sexy time was had on stage dancing for legends in the game
@jfbdj
@dj_cantsayno
@kraftykuts

And of course my stage dance partner @louisewattsperformance

Some seriously saucy truth and dares came out in the immersive walkabout. Highlight was 8 people spitting in my hat to 'lube the dare. Couldnt find a single slab of butter all night to free me from the cage.
