After reflecting on our capacity and considering a variety of external factors, Cabaret of Lights will be taking a pause in 2025. A little rest now means we can return with renewed energy, creativity, and intention. If you'd normally spend an evening with us, we invite you to turn that ticket and tipping money into Hanukkah Gelt - sharing it with your favorite Jewish performers or supporting organizations you care about, including those working to protect and support Palestinian lives. This pause is temporary, but the chutzpah and sparkle are not. We can’t wait to see you in 2026! As we light the Hannukiah on the final night of Hanukkah, we want to extend a heartfelt Todah Rabah (thank you) to everyone who joined us, whether virtually or in person, for the 2024 Cabaret of Lights! Your presence and support are truly a gift, and we hope our show brought a special touch of light to your Hanukkah season. 🕎 Producer Announcement 🕎 Rounding out the cast is the Producer of Cabaret of Lights - @vavavashtiburlesque (she/her)! Luxury-sized and one hell of a prize, VaVa Vashti is a dynamic performer who has graced stages across the country and was recently awarded Best Vocalist at the 2024 @saltydesertburlesquefest . Based in Minneapolis, she is a member of the @tccabaret Troupe and she also produces the @cabaretoflights , an annual Hanukkah Burlesque Show highlighting Jewish performers. As a fat, queer, disabled, and neurodivergent artist, Vashti is deeply committed to promoting accessibility and inclusion both on and off the stage. ------------------ Cabaret of Lights: A Hanukkah Burlesque show ow that celebrates Jewish performers and their artistry. 🕎 Cast Announcement 🕎 Sometimes you need to double your fun with a duet of locals - meet @tovahozburlesque (they/them) and @mikkoblaze (he/him)! The hellacious Hebrew Tovah Oz got their burlesque start right here in St Paul on the @nudienubies stages, winning March and going on as runner up for the July Full Reveal in 2016 before joining the ranks of @bigbadburlesqeu Big Bag Burlesque If you’re in need of a Jewlicious time, Tovah Oz has the goods! Mr. @gay90s 2024, Mikko Blaze will be bringing his Latinx flavor to the stage. You can catch this gentleman with the cast of Hot Pink, @ladiesoflafemme and with his Band @hurricaneblazemn. With a voice like butter, this 2018 karaoke World Champion will make you swoon while wearing some serious Bling! 🕎 Cast Announcement 🕎 We're so excited to be bringing another fabulous performer from the Twin Titties/Cities back to our stage, meet @cremedepecheburlesque (she/they)! Crème de Pêche is a fat, queer, and Jewish performer in the Twin Titties. Though she’s only 5 feet tall, they pack a punch with their high-energy and acrobatic acts and are thrilled to be returning to the Cabaret of Lights stage for another year! Pepper Parfait is a sweet and saucy Minnesota milf who puts the ass in casserole! Since she began her performer journey three years ago, Pepper has brought her spicy hotdish to stages at @roseacademyofburlesque, @nudienubies, and @pinkdoorproductionsmn . 🕎 Cast Announcement 🕎 This next performer is coming to us from just a state away, please meet @enyadreamsburlesque (they/them) from Madison, WI! Enya Dreams began their burlesque journey in 2019 and in 2024, they came into a mentorship with @lakota_shekhar and became a member of Shekhar Haus. Enya Dreams is a Disabled, Fat, Queer performer who hopes to inspire performers who are tokenized or left behind to advocate for themselves and each other.
