Hi it's me Nancy the Girl in the Cabin

Dreamer. Goal setter. Communications and Marketing Manager. Mom.
I’m a memory keeper, a gift giver, and a maker of all the things, knitting, quilting, DIYing… if I can create it with my hands, I’m in my happy place.

Lately, I’ve been finding my rhythm again on the volleyball court, and it feels a lot like coming home to myself.

I have a graphic design brain that never really shuts off, kerning and leading matter more than they probably should and it shows up in everything I create out here in the cabin.

Also… give me a beautiful piece of wood grain and I will absolutely swoon.
Making is where I feel most like me.

Une autre commande franco-ontarienne en préparation!

Merci tellement pour votre soutien de notre collection franco. Ça fait vraiment plaisir de voir toutes ces commandes partir un peu partout.

Je vais passer une bonne partie de la fin de semaine à emballer les commandes et à me mettre à jour… mais continuez de les envoyer!

Vous avez jusqu’au 18 septembre pour commander et recevoir vos articles à temps pour le Jour des Franco-Ontariens et des Franco-Ontariennes.

These sounds bring me so much joy.

There was a time when packing was rare and complex.

Now I have my packaging systems, supplies, inventory, shipping labels… and a business that actually feels like a REAL grown-up business.

Sometimes I have to stop and appreciate how far Cabin Design Co. has come and thank you all for being here.

And yes, apparently the sound of crinkly paper and a tape gun is my version of ASMR. by @cabindesignco

Sometimes the best part of custom orders is when a customer gives me the chance to try something I’ve never made before!

This cute little personalized golf tag was one of those projects and I’m kind of obsessed with how it turned out!

Thanks to the customers who trust me to turn their ideas into something fun. You’re the reason I get to keep creating new things!
