NYC always inspires—from every sidewalk to every skyline, there’s something new to learn with each step. Design Week reminded me that creativity is everywhere: in materials, conversations, and the city itself. But the best part was sharing it with the team; every experience together makes us stronger and more creative. Ready to bring all this energy and fresh ideas back to Domus Aurea. taken in NYC by @cabzzo

Meet Carlos Briceño, our talented Junior Designer celebrating two incredible years with Domus Aurea Interiors!

Carlos loves being part of a multifaceted team capable of tackling every aspect of design. His unique approach is human-centered, nature-inspired, and data-driven, constantly blending technology and nature to elevate human experiences.

When he’s not designing, he's busy as an entrepreneur cooking up exciting new projects—or passionately cheering for his beloved A.S. Roma! Fun fact: Working at Domus Aurea Interiors was clearly written in the stars for him (ask him why)!

His favorite quote:
“Look up at the sky. You will never find rainbows if you are looking down.” – Charlie Chaplin

The Barajas T4 Terminal by Richard Rogers exemplifies precision in modular design, rhythmic structural sequences, and strategic apertures for optimal natural light distribution. The vibrant color palette contrasts the exposed steel and bamboo finishes, enhancing spatial orientation and functionality. A technical achievement in sustainable and user-focused architecture.
