2025 CO buck “Slider”
What a hunt this turned into! I had some great help from @dylangdavis for a few days and he had to go on day 5! On the morning of day 6 I went in solo to a new area that I thought could produce. Sure enough I found this buck feeding over a saddle toward a thick pine face! I made a nasty hike from the other side to get in position hoping he would feed out in a pocket where I thought he would. He read the script and did exactly what I expected! With only one option for a place to shoot from at 847 yards it came together and I couldn’t be happier with the outcome!

I witnessed a pretty wild event just 450 yards below me off the cliff I was glassing off. As I was glassing elk with my binoculars I heard a violent scream below me. When I looked down the motion of the lion tackling the fawn and its mother and sibling fawn running away caught my eye. The video was hand holding my phone through my binoculars. The fawn bawled each time the lion would reach down and grab it with its mouth. After a minute or so the lion was ready to drag it from the open and the fawn was able to break free for a brief minute but was caught again and killed in the bottom. A sad reality of what happens in nature. #sad #epichunts #martinhunting #elkhunting #mtnlion #fyp #lionssuck #muledeer by @cache_lynn23

CO 2024 buck!
.
Another fun trip to Colorado this year and a punched tag on this buck. Just a good ol fashion tall 3 point! It’s hard to beat a good trip with good buddies @dylangdavis and @tbet23 in beautiful country! Plenty warm outside of a couple days of colder temps that kept bucks in the thick and tougher to dig up! Made for a tighter window for a shot but with a tack driver of a gun from @fierce_arms it makes it feel easy!

This fall has been hunt after hunt and she has spent a lot of time, just her and the dogs lately letting me help on hunts and live my dream! She holds down the fort better than I ever could alone and I will never be able to show her how much she supports me and how much I appreciate everything she is and does!!
.
.
This coming week is her turn to get behind a gun and be the tag holder I’m excited to see what we can turn up together and see if we can get her tag punched on her first big buck! It’s a hunt I’ve looked forward to since draw results came out!🤞🏽🤞🏽 #tropheywife #hunt #livinthedream #epichunts by @cache_lynn23
