My first acting audition with lines! It’s for a holiday commercial. I memorized my lines quickly and my mom said I did a great job doing what they wanted for the audition. Fingers crossed I book it!🤞

Our sweet boy turned 8 and we had the best time celebrating him @unistudios 🥳8️⃣.

We loved the new Mario land and of course Harry Potter land! I just finished reading the third Harry Potter book to the kids and they are really getting into it. The Butter Beer is always delicious!😋 Our favorite ride was the new Fast & Furious rollercoaster—such an exciting ride! Love that Caden had no fear jumping out there and dancing with the dancers in front of strangers. He went so hard each day that he fell asleep at dinner.😂

He may be a big boy now but he’s still a mommas boy when he’s tired. 🥰

We love you Caden! You are full of energy these days, love sports—specifically basketball, football and soccer. You’re silly and enjoy telling jokes to make people laugh. One of my favorite things is your contagious laughter and big smile.

Time is flying but I’m looking forward to seeing you continue to grow while trying to savor every moment of these young years with you.❤️

Celebrated Caden’s 7TH BIRTHDAY last weekend while we were glamping in Tahoe! He wanted a Super Mario Bros themed party and it was a success! 🥳⭐️🍄🏕️

Caden I can’t believe how fast you are growing up! You are the kindest and most loveable sweet boy. You’re full of life and have the best infectious laugh! You love playing sports, video games and with friends. But no matter how old you get—I hope you’ll always still love snuggling with your mama! We love you handsome boyl!! ❤️

First day of third grade for Ella & first day of second grade for Caden! I really enjoyed getting to homeschool full time last year but felt the kids were missing out on working with other kids on group projects since I’m not great at planning those. So we are excited to try Acton’s new hybrid program this year—the kids will be at school two days a week and then homeschooled the other two days. They have also moved up from Sparks to Threshold. I think this is going to be the perfect combo for us!

I love the Acton community and their goal to cultivate curiosity, independence, and a lifelong love of learning in children because that is also my goal for Ella & Caden. by @caden.castillo
