Me and my Dad @jonathanhelser love music, epic places and recording so we hatched an idea to start capturing these acoustic takes! This is a special one we recorded on the cliffs of Cornwall a few years back. We had just filmed “First Love” and weren’t even planing on getting another song but as we looked at the setting sun we decided the light was too good not to try! We quickly set up our gear and captured this beautiful moment right as the sun began to disappear over the horizon. The colors and the sound of the sea all came together with a song I grew up hearing my Dad sing. I love this one and it holds a special place in my heart. Fast. This has all been really fast. 2 weeks ago we got the news that my papa has bone cancer and now we are in hospice. The timing is tragic and the speed horrific. I’m in awe of my family and the unity we have had in this storm. So many tears. So many moments I didn’t think would happen any time soon but here we are. Prayers for my Grandma would be so special and the rest of the family. They have been married 53 years.

If you can help we are raising money for my grandma. I’ll have a link in my bio. Thank you for keeping us in your hearts and praying. This is a really wild and tragic time. It’s a moment when photos and voice memos become precious.

I’m grateful for documentation and the ability of a camera to help us slow down the tragic moments so we can feel them and let them pass through. by @cadencehelser
