My freshman year, I was asked by a senior how I liked Clemson. I told him that “I am just trusting in God’s plan, and that I am excited to see His reason for me being here.”

He then hit me with a question that I wouldn’t truly wrestle with until this year: “Can you still be content with/trust in God’s plan for your life even though He may never reveal His plan to you?” He told me that God isn’t “obligated” to reveal anything.

I think we see previous miracles in retrospect and see how certain seasons of life or “stepping stones” in our life have led to another, and we try to map out the next thing God is going to do. Ultimately, God isn’t obligated to reveal that to us, or how it all ties together. He is good regardless!

This year, for everyone, was filled with great and bad days. But every day, the best thing to do is just trust! True contentment and peace in our lives doesn’t always come from just finding joy. Contentment and peace can simply come from trusting in the Lord for where you are, knowing He is enough, and trusting that everything is working for your good, even if His plan isn’t or may never be revealed to you. This peace found through trust can start to produce joy itself, in both the great days and the bad!

I think these verses are great reminders to end a year on and start a new year on. I often struggle with looking behind or in front of me - never truly remaining present. As I’m sure others would agree, the times I’ve given all my worries to God are when I’ve felt the most peace. If we’re all being honest, when looking back at this year, there are a lot of good times and some bad times as well. God has been there in every season, and in every bad season, He has brought us through. As we look forward to 2025, which may seem like a year of uncertainty, essential decisions, and life changes for many… I think it’s important we remember, “We may not know what the future holds, but we know who holds the future”! He knows we’re not perfect. We’ll mess up, try to take control of everything ourselves, and stumble, but He loves us and will always be there. He holds it all together! by @cadencolangelo

God thank you for these people. Thank you for the victories and the losses. Thank you for allowing me to be part of such an amazing program, team, but most importantly… family. We only had 3 years together, but you Blessed us with more than most get in 4. You did that. You worked through us.

What I’ll miss more than any of the trophies or accolades are the pre-game Prayers, post-game dinners, W-Flag flying, dog piles, hammer slams, cowboy hats, bus rides back from games, and everything in between. What i’ll miss the most though, is suiting up next to the guys every game. Thank you for the memories that will last a lifetime. #22out 🤍💙

Over the last month or so, I was given two opportunities to speak at Church. The first being at our youth group’s (Vertical) senior led service and the second was during both Sunday services this past Sunday. Both have similar beginnings and share parts of my testimony. The first video is from this past Sunday and is less directed towards high schoolers specifically, while the second one is from the senior led service and directed more towards that audience.

I Pray that this will inspire others to take action, get plugged in with their local Church, and share their testimony. Your testimony doesn’t have to be some big deal… it’s YOURS! YOUR testimony can make a difference in someone’s life, so share it! I can tell you honestly if you’d ask me during my Freshman year if I’d be attending Church practically every Wednesday or Sunday, I’d tell you you were crazy. However, it is possibly one of the best things I have ever done as it has helped me strengthen my faith and relationship with God. taken in Park Valley Church by @cadencolangelo

I don’t know bout y’all, but i think my man Davaun and I look pretty fire with the ties🔥😎. Like i said for the last event that was held, thank you @timtebowfoundation and @parkvalleychurch for putting on this amazing event for the community and spreading the love of Jesus! It’s a great way to show a whole group of people Church and God’s love for them through a different lens. Like the foundation’s website says to the guests, “Night to Shine is a celebration of God’s love for YOU, our Kings and Queens!” and it was absolutely amazing to see the love that all the volunteers, community members, and staff poured into the guests all night! ✝️ taken in Park Valley Church by @cadencolangelo
