PARIS OLYMPIC GAMES SILVER MEDAL 🥈

Words can’t describe this feeling, to know that all my work over the last 15 years was worth something, for all my sacrifices and investments into myself paying off in this way and being able to do so with the biggest smile on my face all day is beautiful❤️

I was blessed on my fight day I had a tough draw, defeating 3 different World Champions, 3 Olympic medalists and heavyweight hall of famers was a challenge I’ve wished for for years upon years,

I am heartbroken I didn’t get the Gold 🥇however my fight day blessed me in ways I couldn’t have imagined, my final was against an amazing opponent from Iran who gave me genuinely the best fight of my life and the best fight Heavyweight Taekwondo has ever seen, so to him I’m so grateful for the challenge, one fight doesn’t change anything Im still the King of heavyweight Taekwondo 👑

To all fans, family and friends, my heart is so full it could burst, I’ve replied to every single message I’ve gotten as a small show of appreciation to you guys and going forward I’ll continue to give back by performing in my craft and giving people something to watch and admire

I’m so fortunate to have the best coach, physio, nutritionist, PA, psych, teammates, s&c coach and anything else you could think of at my disposal so I’m so glad I could make them proud and show them all the work we do isn’t for nothing

For any of those wondering what I’ll do next, just wait and see and enjoy the ride

Best regards,

Very grateful for this past year for all its challenges both mentally and physically but I’m happy to be back and much closer to fit 🤕

Paris was a great time to show what I can still and will continue to do and that’s enjoy the game whilst fighting at the highest level and winning big medals,

Still healing still growing and always being better, excited for the Grand Prix Final where it’s the absolute best of the best focusing on finishing the year strong

One love ❤️

Through all training, travelling and competition, one thing remains consistent. Carrying myself with elegance and power I do that with Invictus. @rabanne

Caden Cunningham's perfect spinning counter | Professional #taekwondo analysis 033

How did Caden Cunningham set up this spinning counter against Cheick Salah Cissé?
Cissé's narrow stance and weight distribution limited the strikes he could effectively throw from that position. Caden recognized this, waited for Cissé to lift his lead leg, and immediately used a sharp hop-switch into a spinning counter.
But the setup wasn't the only important part. Caden's momentum, positioning, and lean helped him avoid overextending—and Cissé later tried to use the same logic against Caden.
A small exchange, but a lot of thought behind it.
