TBT to the days where hangovers weren’t a thing and booging was happening. Accidentally partied for 2 days straight then jumped on a plane to Perth picked up at midnight from the airport straight down the coast to a jet ski ride on sunrise out to this place. That was a huge few days

Saturday had a go at Hyrox singles was humbled quickly. 1hr 06 but probably should have been familiar with the rules and got 7min of penalties. Unbroken 121 wall balls was a highlight
Straight into @joeclarke86 40th wow!
Sunday pumping waves at the local
Monday Hyrox doubles with the hammer @steven_coombes1 was a blast and managed to get more penalties.
Top it off Dora lost her training wheels ❤️ Haz was stoked by @cadesharp

IRONMAN DONE
3.8km swim
180km bike
42.2km run

Didn’t get the time I was going for but had a good dig against the wind on the bike. Was a lot of moments talking myself out of stopping and pulling the pin.
Finishing 180km on the bike against horrible winds and just starting the run knowing you have a marathon to do is a feeling I’ll never forget that’s for sure.

One day I’d love to have another go and get under 10hrs but who knows when that’ll be.

Thanks @royparf2 / @parfosbrickandblocklaying for getting me on the starting line never ever would have been able to get there without your help and bloody wild effort yourself smashing it out with dead set zero training your a different human. John Carey also one of the most giving blokes thank you for all your help!

Wrangled a few lifeguards to join this year was good fun unfortunately @epposon was too good for everyone maybe get him next year. Few minutes off last years time will have to do this time around.
