Let’s have a chat.

I’m sure a lot of people are wondering why the cadets baritone instagram account is making shit posts and memes. Well, the reason behind that is because it portrays our sense of comedy and humor and our fun and outgoing personality. Since the cadets first announced its folding I decided to make this page into a meme featuring the baritone “platinum” members of the cadets. And the true reason behind that is because for those youngins who are scared or worried to march any corps, don’t be. The memes you see is representing our and even other corps humor. Every corps you will go to, especially in the low brass section will be full of amazing individuals who have an amazing sense of humor. This page wasn’t just one person’s decision to turn into a shit post account. It was a section decision to show how fun drum corps can really be. If you’re worried or scared to audition because you feel like you won’t fit in. Don’t be. At the end of the day we’re all just band kids.

Unfortunately there is no more cadets, we’ll make jokes about it because humor is a coping mechanism for us. And I do apologize if there’s any jokes that may seem kinda “eh” or not funny, but most jokes are funny to us, the platinum section. Like I said, this account represents the baritones as a hole. Not just one individual. What makes one person laugh makes us all laugh. And that’s how it was all summer long.

But at the end of the day nobody loves the cadets more than us.
