Perfect November day and this view I see everyday but don't tire of by @cadlavolp
Apero time in the studio at @cadlavolp Working on new works @cadlavolp artist residency which was founded by @simon_foxall. It’s been an amazing time to pause, reflect, reset and also process a lot that’s happened this year. I came with many ideas in mind of what I wanted to do and ended up doing completely different works. Cadlavop had been a beautifully inspiring haven on both a human and artistic level. Thank you so much Simon and Angelo for the warmest welcome and most fabulous time 💕 my heart and mind are replenished 🫶🏻 #artistresidency #aperointhestudio #asti by @cadlavolp

@cadlavolp is pleased to welcome @sarahboris_ldn for a residency in Monferrato this September Sarah is an interdisciplinary artist, working across sculpture, drawing, painting, print making, and bookmaking. Her work draws on symbols, lived experiences, and is often site specific. Using a signature palette of highly saturated colour, Sarah explores sensory experiences and ideas around language, time, politics, peace and love. ❤️🩷🧡💛💚💙🩵💜🤎 by @cadlavolp
SUBMISSIONS CLOSED! Ca' d'la Vòlp is pleased to welcome Beth Collar @qwallah (Cambridge, 1984) to Monferrato this August. Beth is an interdisciplinary artist trying to live and work in Berlin, Germany. Her work uses carving, remembering, drawing, storytelling, performance and material feedback to fathom out how unconscious impulses are shaped by objects and how collective emanations of the past affect the present. Making the familiar unfamiliar, her things often explore the lingering resonance of inherited imagery, particularly within Christian iconography. Work images from her solo show "Intercession" at @galeriekhoshbakht in Cologne by @cadlavolp
@cadlavolp Grazie mille for the incredible experience in Asti, Italy! Both the residency as well as Italian culture taught me to value slowing down and absorbing the landscape through plain air painting. This summer I’m working toward my solo at @sheetcakegallery and works on paper show with @monya_rowe_gallery. I couldn’t have picked a better place to focus and drop into a new way of painting. Sharing the time and space with queer community reminded me how vital it is to create in places where you feel not only seen but celebrated! I’m learning more and more how community and conversations can help us grow artistically, and personally. I wish Simon and Angel my very best with all they do within the @cadlavolp artist residency and hate to leave but know I will be back! Caio, la mio amici! Molte grazie! by @cadlavolp
