@enkoneart an artist deeply rooted in a family of creators, merges his graffiti and airbrush origins with a powerful sense of purpose. Starting at 16 years old, he evolved from a graffiti artist to a seasoned entrepreneur and master muralist, driven by a revolutionary spirit.

For Enkone, art is more than beauty, it’s a necessity and a way of life. He says, “If this was 1965, 66, 67, I’d definitely be a Black Panther.” His work speaks to his Pro-Black and Pan-African values, with his latest mural for the Black-owned, social equity-based Cadre Dispensary serving as a bold statement of that commitment. Featuring iconic figures, Huey P. Newton and Malcolm X, along with powerful symbols of protection, the mural represents his ongoing mission to create art that is revolutionary and long lasting.

For Enkone, art is both a tool that creates and leaves a legacy for future generations to learn from and be inspired by. As Dr. John Henrik Clarke said, he urges others to “Do what you do, do it well, and do it for your people.” by @cadre.warehouse
