A very over due post, and yet a social media post, gift, gesture or words could ever truly express the gratitude I have for my parents.

Their selflessness and the way they continue to show up, not only for me and my sisters, but for their sons-in-law, nieces, nephew, and everyone who has joined our lives, is something I will never take for granted.

They’ve always shown us what it means to be good parents, but watching them become grandparents has been an entirely different kind of appreciation. Seeing the way they love, support, sacrifice, and show up for us but more importantly, their grandbabies has made me appreciate them in ways I don’t even know how to put into words.

They continue to teach me that being a parent and a grandparent, isn’t just about being there for the big moments. It’s about the countless little sacrifices, always showing up, and loving your family in a way that never asks for anything in return.

Watching them pour that same love into everyone around them has made me realize even more how incredibly lucky I am to have them in my life. They have a way of making everyone feel welcomed, cared for, and like they are truly part of our family. I hope one day I can be a quarter of the parents and grandparents they are.

From chasing me city to city, state to state, and even country to country without ever thinking twice, to now welcoming Tyler onto that train and supporting us through all of our crazy adventures.

James (Jim) Rice, was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather who battled aggressive cancer for almost ten years. Jim spent every day of his 80 years demonstrating that the best way to Bee Happy, was to always Bee Kind.

In honor of his second heavenly birthday, we are thrilled to announce the official launch of The Bee Happy. Bee Kind. Foundation!
