Spartan is back.. and I think I needed him more than I realized 🖤 Also I am so out of shape, riding a horse his size is a serious workout lol. #friesian

His coat is my fave 😍 It’s different than Thalias and even Xena’s. It’s much straighter and SO SOFT💕 by @caesarthebicolorgsd

Today I moved 12 ridiculously heavy and awkward round pen panels by myself to build feeding stalls for my horses. And somewhere between the exhaustion, frustration, and determination, I was reminded of something.

You are capable of so much more than you give yourself credit for.

To every woman battling chronic illness, heartbreak, exhaustion, or simply trying to rebuild pieces of herself that life has torn apart… don’t underestimate yourself.

Life will challenge you. Your body may fail you. Your circumstances may knock you down. But none of those things get to define who you are or what you’re capable of.

I’ve learned that sometimes the only way to overcome something is to go THROUGH it. Through the discomfort, the uncertainty, the fear, and the moments when giving up feels easier.

And no, that doesn’t mean pushing yourself beyond your limits. It means knowing when to rest, when to give yourself grace, and when to remind yourself that you’ve still got some fight left in you.

Some days strength looks like moving mountains. Other days it looks like simply surviving or getting out of bed. Both deserve recognition.

Never underestimate what a determined woman can accomplish, even when she’s running on empty. 🔥🤎 by @caesarthebicolorgsd

Nami just turned 2 yesterday. Today we took her to get her OFA’s done and they look good! Hopefully she passes so we can officially introduce her into our breeding program! 🤞🏻

She is SUCH a nice example of the breed. Best of both Kane and Thalia. Drivey, but nice off switch. Naturally protective but not a liability. A derp but also serious. A good girl but also can be naughty and fun 😬 I love love love her💕

Thanks for letting me steal her for the day Tommy!

Thanks for the pics @vendettathegsd 🩶

About a month ago I was almost canceled for showing the “ugly” when you own a dog who’s aging and still has energy. Same dog btw, he’s still going strong! Crazy some people were like “put him down”, “you’re abusive”, whatever. Anyways. lol by @caesarthebicolorgsd

Just documenting where we’re at🤣 I lowkey hate ob now and don’t do a ton of foundation, so considering this, i’m happy with it😬 by @caesarthebicolorgsd

LET. THEM. 💕

I heard something on @themelrobbinspodcast today that genuinely stopped me in my tracks.

Mel asked Charlamagne tha God how he handles criticism on social media.

His response? “I don’t care. I really don’t.”

Then he said something I’ll never forget:

“We are all in verbally abusive relationships with our smartphones.”

WHEW. 👏🏼

WHY do we willingly subject ourselves to the opinions of people who don’t actually know us???

Why do we read the comments, revisit the criticism, and allow complete strangers to occupy space in our minds they haven’t earned?

I’ve spent years building something I’m proud of. I’ve poured my heart, time, money, and countless sacrifices into my work and my life. I’ve made mistakes. I’ve learned. I’ve grown. And I’ll continue to do all three.

But somewhere along the way, I started allowing the opinions of people who don’t know me to carry more weight than those who actually do.

And that’s a ridiculous way to live.

“The algorithm doesn’t know the difference.”

Good attention. Bad attention. People cheering you on or praying for your downfall. They’re still talking.

But here’s the lesson: He doesn’t protect his peace by being stronger than the criticism. He protects it by refusing to consume it.

And THAT is my new mantra.

I don’t need to defend every misconception, correct every false narrative, or convince people who’ve already made up their minds.

I can accept criticism, hold myself accountable, and keep growing without making myself emotionally available to everyone with an opinion and an internet connection.

I’m done giving people that kind of access to me.

Let them talk.
Let them judge.
Let them misunderstand me.
Let them criticize.
Let them believe whatever version of me they’ve created.

Because the greatest freedom isn’t getting everyone to understand you.

It’s realizing they don’t have to.

And the most important part of Mel’s philosophy?

LET ME.

Let me protect my peace.
Let me focus on what matters.
Let me keep growing.
Let me live without needing everyone’s approval.

LET THEM. LET ME. 💕 by @caesarthebicolorgsd
