Today, October 5, is the LAST DAY to register to vote and check your voter registration.

⏰ You have until 11:59PM tonight to register online.

Showing up matters. Because when we don’t participate, other people make decisions that affect our communities—and our voices are missing from conversations of impact.

If we want to be heard, we must show up.
If we want our communities represented, we have to participate.
If we want our voices to be counted, we have to make sure we’re registered and ready to vote.

If you live in Arizona, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Indiana, Kentucky, Mississippi, Ohio, Tennessee, or Texas, TODAY (Oct 5) is the last day to register to vote in the midterms.

Our community shows up for each other in every way: at the masjid, at iftars, in times of need. Showing up at the ballot box is part of that too. The decisions made this November will shape our neighborhoods, our schools, our civil rights, and how our voices are heard on the issues we care about most.

Our Muslim civil rights organization was proud to attend Tiger Bay Club's gubernatorial candidate forums featuring candidates from both major parties, including gubernatorial candidate David Jolly and lieutenant governor candidate Bryan Avila.

As a 501(c)(3), we believe civic engagement starts with education. We must educate one another, ask the hard questions, listen to different perspectives, and help our communities understand the issues that shape our future, including where your taxpayer dollars go and your candidates' stances on critical issues.

An informed community is an empowered community. 🤝

Funneling over a billion dollars taken from the American people is an egregious outrage that should be condemned by all Americans. Noura Erakat bravely opposed this investment of the American peoples’ money in genocide and war crimes and was arrested for it. We stand in full solidarity with her and encourage elected officials nationwide to do the same and to condemn both her unjust arrest and Palm Beach County’s investment in the genocidal Israeli government. @cair_national is urging Muslim communities to remain especially vigilant through September 14. This is about preparedness, not fear: review safety practices, look out for one another, and report credible threats or suspicious activity.

Muslims are part of the fabric of America, and we deserve to worship, live, and raise our children without fear.

Muslim youth born after September 11 have inherited the burden of stigma and false narratives they had no part in creating.

Their parents—and their faith—condemn acts of violence, yet Muslim children still face Islamophobia, bullying, and suspicion because of who they are.

From bullying in schools to hateful rhetoric online and at the political podium, this hatred has real consequences.

With a 183% increase in incidents targeting Muslim places of worship, as well as the growing threats against mosques, the impact of September 11 has created a wave of impact for the whole Muslim community.

🤲 Our children deserve to feel safe. Our mosques should be safe places. And every American deserves the freedom to practice their faith without being targeted. Your vigilance ensures our communities remain safe.
