Weekend's almost here and there's plenty on. Kids Club is tomorrow morning from 8:30 to 10am for 7 to 12 year olds - bookings essential, call us today if you haven't already. The Aqua Park is running Saturday and Sunday from 10am to 4pm, one-hour sessions, ages 6 and up, bookings required. And Sunday morning is Ladies Day from 8:30 to 10am, women only, all levels welcome. Whatever the weather's doing, the cable is running and the lake is right there. Call 4038 1304 to sort your weekend. by @cairnswakepark

Not quite ready to stand up on a wakeboard? Start on your knees. Kneeboarding is how a lot of our riders get started - kids and adults alike. You're lower to the water, more stable, and it builds all the same core skills you need to eventually transition to wakeboarding. A lot of riders actually love kneeboarding so much they stick with it long-term, and there's nothing wrong with that. Kids Club tomorrow afternoon from 3:30 to 5pm includes both kneeboarding and wakeboarding, so it's a great place for 7 to 12 year olds to find their feet - literally. All equipment provided. Cairns Show holiday this Friday - and we'll let you do the maths. Skip the $30 showbags, the $15 dagwood dogs, and the queues for rides that last 90 seconds. Come to the lake instead. Get your thrills on the cable or the Aqua Park, refuel with decent food and a cold drink at the café and bar, and enjoy a bit of space to breathe.
