Last Friday, Wenhao Cai’s @wenhao.studio solo exhibition, “Mind the Gap” opened at Cai Studio. Thank you to everyone who joined us!
 Taking painting as architecture, “Mind the Gap” explores the inbetween and overlooked spaces to consider the integrity of the structures that surround us. This exhibition brings together select works from Wenhao’s time at the Rhode Island School of Design (RISD), culminating in her recent senior thesis that incorporates reclaimed materials from the construction site of her childhood home.   “Mind the Gap” is on view until October 18 and open by appointment via the link in bio.

Cai: Brother Shaoji, rest in peace! 绍基兄，一路走好！

“Life’s abundance springs from solitude 生命的富足来自独处”— Liang Shaoji (1945–2026).

On March 13, 2016, “What About Art? Contemporary Art from China,” organized by Qatar Museums Gallery and curated by Cai Guo-Qiang, opened at Al Riwaq in Doha. Alongside 15 other contemporary artists and artist groups from China, Liang Shaoji presented his unique artistic methodology and stance, as well as his insights on life.

2016年3月13日，卡塔尔博物馆局主办、蔡国强策划《艺术怎么样？来自中国的当代艺术》在多哈的阿尔里瓦克 (Al Riwaq) 展览馆开幕。和15位（组）来自中国的当代艺术家一起，梁绍基展示了自己对艺术方法论、艺术态度的创造及对人生感悟。
