One week ago we had the absolute pleasure of being with Alex & Caitie surrounded by the beauty of Lake Garda.

Flying all the way from America with their family & friends this was a wedding celebrations to remember.

Starting with the welcome drinks at the stunning Hotel Villa Florida, then onto the next day with yoga & basket ball. To the rehearsal dinner of dreams at the jaw dropping Conti Thun.

Son Marco was the setting for their wedding day, with lake Garda as the back drop of their dream wedding.

Caite brought her New York Rockette vibes, & had a surprise for everyone with a first dance routine that Caite & Alex had been practising in the states.

The energy was electric and full of love & laughter.

The Wedding Weekend Classic…

There’s a long standing tradition in my family where the men hold a sporting event of the groom’s choice the morning of the wedding. Naturally, I wanted to host something for my girls as well. I chose a yoga class while Alex picked basketball. My bestie Aly, instructed the class. Instead of the morning of the wedding, we did our activities before the rehearsal dinner. It’s so special continuing these family traditions while tweaking them along the way. So thankful we captured these moments.

7.12.26 | Aloha, Mr. & Mrs. Gionis 🌺

Our final celebration before we head to Italy, hosted by Alex’s extended family.

A very special shoutout to our guest of honor, and arguably the woman who set this whole love story in motion without even knowing, Ms. Mary Jo.

For those who don’t know, Alex’s sister Ava and I grew up dancing at the same studio in Tampa. That connection became the first thread tying our families together. After spending 13 years at the studio and knowing Ava for years, it wasn’t until about five years later that Alex and I finally met a thousand miles away in NYC! Funny how life works.
