📣Cast announcements for House of the Exquisite Corpse VI: LULLABIES are here! 
There are 6 rooms and every room features 2 to 3 puppeteers (and countless puppets), but before that can come to be, we have our room creators! These are the folks who conceive of the creation, tie it to the theme, make the puppets and write the story. Meet the creators of Hushaby, hush, you’re not going with them Caitlin McLeod is a costume, scenic, and puppet designer, and co-curator of @nbspuppetcabaret as well as a company member of Rough House, and Cabinet of Curiosity. Outside of her work in traditional theatre, Caitlin fosters an appreciation for visual arts, finding inspiration in the natural world around her and combining those elements with the human form. Follow Caitlin at @caitlinmcleoddesign Charlie Malave, aka Charlie Universe, aka Charlie Wednesday, is a musician, multi-instrumentalist, performing artist, and video maker whose body of work has produced an array of unique instruments, compositions, music videos, and theatrical productions.  He is the guitarist and current Artistic Director for Mucca Pazza (a performance-art, marching band/rock band/orchestra), and half of the Creative Weirdo team which produces Adventure Sandwich (a cartoon-ish cardboard-based family show). As Charlie Wednesday, he is the bandleader and co-host of Mr. and Mrs. Wednesday-Night (a mostly-improvised fever dream of music and variety). A couple summers ago I designed and built some landscapes of Kansas, Kenya, and the White House for the manual cinema film “Power of Place” on display at the Obama Presidential Center. It took a village to make all the elements in the film, and it’s amazing to see the final edit come together for everyone to enjoy. Make sure you check out both films “Power of Place” and “Ten Letters a Day” when visiting! A lot of great Chicagoans came together to create those stories. • @manual_cinema a month ago the Obama Presidential Center opened to the public! We are honored to have made a small contribution to preserving the Obama’s incredible legacy. We can’t wait for folks to experience the beautiful campus and be inspired and moved by the thoughtful curation. ⁠ ⁠ We are endlessly grateful to all the amazing folks at the Obama Presidential Center, our partners at Batwin + Robin, and our amazing DP Andrew J Morgan. I finally got Gareth out to see GOODNIGHT MOON at @chichildtheatre - safe to say he was obsessed. His highlights were the string lights and toy house, but he paid attention the whole time! The Little Toy House! This was a full team effort, I created the shadow puppet images in the windows. Scenic designer @eleanorkahndesign provided the house, lighting designer @ericswat created the fairy fervor and activation, props designer @lonnae_h modified the house and installed the door. It takes a village for some fairies to fabricate stars. GOODNIGHT MOON @chichildtheatre still has a few more weeks of performances!
