Four years doesn’t sound like a lot until you start counting what actually happened inside of them. (Or you try to fit four years into limited IG slots).

I came into this job not fully knowing what I was signing up for, and I think that was a definitely a gift. Because if I had known the hours, the time zones, the airports, the pressure, the sheer volume of it all, I might have hesitated. And then I would have missed everything.

American Tradeshow Services took me places I never expected to go. I got to experience Vancouver, Calgary, Toronto, Hawaii, Austria, Australia, Portugal and so many places all over the United States. Somewhere along the way, the travel stopped feeling like a perk and started feeling like an education. Every city, every convention floor, every late night and early morning taught me something about the world and something about myself.

I worked across more industries than I can count from health, tech, food, science, manufacturing, education and then some, and what I found inside all of them were people, relationships, stories. It truly felt like a look inside humanity.

Within ATS specifically, I found a truly odd bunch of people. A goofy, hilarious, weird, incredible group of people. People who showed up. People who cared deeply, not just about the end product, but about each other and the relationships we built along the way. That is what I will carry with me most in this next chapter.

This job was hard in ways that are difficult to put into words (this millennial post is long enough). But the hard things were also the ones that shaped me. I learned how to advocate for myself. I learned how to move through the world with more confidence and grace. I learned that I am more than capable for what’s next.

As I move into my birthday month, I can’t help but tap into that classic Sagittarius energy of reflection, shedding, growth and reinvention. I pulled together my year in twelve tiny highlights… and wow, ALL THE FEELS 💜

These little snapshots hold a whole universe of pure love and laughter, healing and growth, miles traveled, quiet stillness, wild breakthroughs, unlearning and relearning, soul connections, deep changes, advocacy, belly laughs, beautiful friendships, celebrations, great food, lows that humbled me and highs that lit me up. Somehow all that chaos and softness fit into a handful of frames… literal lapses of time. LA, I am profoundly proud of you 🫀🫀🫀
I marched with thousands of others through the streets of Los Angeles. We were united in purpose, powered by love, and unwilling to accept the direction this country is being dragged toward.

Across the country, over 6 MILLION people showed up in what has now become one of the largest protest movements in U.S. history. People from all walks of life said loudly and clearly:
We reject authoritarianism. We reject cruelty. We reject the myth of “kings.”

Because this isn’t just about politics y’all, it’s about people.

It’s about families being torn apart.
It’s about immigrants being violently taken while following the rules.
It’s about students losing their visas.
It’s about neighbors and coworkers being treated like criminals for daring to want a better life.
It’s about the Constitution being ignored.
It’s about dignity, decency, and democracy being stripped away before our eyes.

I want you to know: you are not alone in this fight.

We will not stop.
We will not give up on democracy.
We will not give up on each other.
We will not trade truth for comfort.
We will not pretend injustice is “order.”
We will not forget the names, the faces, and the families affected by this violence. 6 MILLION PEOPLE WILL NOT GIVE UP!

And for those who feel helpless or overwhelmed: use your voice, your body, your art, your dollars, your vote, your presence. You matter. We need you.

This moment is a test of who we are and who we are becoming. Let’s rise to it with courage, clarity, and care.

Dear Tony,
I hope as you settle back in after all the excitement that comes from putting on a production like 'Portals' that you are full in every capacity. I hope being surrounded by the warmth of your success and the love that was showered upon you reminds you to be still in the most difficult moments, to recognize how far you've come and how far you'll go. I couldn't help but be overwhelmed with pride and joy as I witnessed such a magical event unfold before my eyes. Your talent and dedication have always been a source of inspiration for me, but seeing it come to life on such a grand scale was truly a moment of wonder.
It was like watching a dream materialize, as I saw countless people gathered to support and celebrate you and your incredible artistry. The way they spoke about your work was a testament to your profound impact on others. You remind people about the beauty of the process, in it's entirety. Each stroke of your brush, each detail of your designs, all woven together to create a masterpiece that resonated deeply with everyone who experienced it. It's an experience that's hard to put into words - you created something that spoke directly to all of our souls.
As your older sister, I've had the privilege of watching you grow into the remarkable person you are today. Your journey has been filled with determination, hard work, and an unwavering passion for your craft. You make all of us want to dig deeper and work harder. Your resilience is admirable and I couldn't be more lucky to be your sister. I've seen you evolve into an artist of unparalleled skill and vision for making people FEEL.
But beyond your talent, what truly warms my heart is the incredible, genuine human being you've become.
Remember, amidst all the accolades and applause, the most important thing is that you stay true to your passion and keep nurturing the fire that fuels your creativity.
