earlier this month, caitlin & nathan had an intimate ceremony at their parish church @holytrinity.dc followed by a jubilant reception at the gorgeous & sprawling @riverfarm_va.

color, laughs and bbq were in abundance as they celebrated with their family, both biological & chosen.

these two are a dynamic duo and i admire the partnership and life they’ve built together 🕊️

it was an absolute joy to be part of their day & man do i love an early summer wedding with a backyard feel!!

A handful of photos from the best day ever!!! My heart is bursting with gratitude for every single person who helped make our day incredible - people we cherish and love and who love us back. I’m so happy that Nate is my husband. We’ve done a lot of work on ourselves and together to get here and I’m really proud of us. There is truly nothing in the world like this joy, and I wish this feeling for everyone who finds their forever 💗💗💗

Honeymoon part two in GREECE 🍯🌙 🇬🇷Felt like a dream we didn’t want to wake up from. The clearest, bluest water I’ve ever seen, Greek salads every day, the nicest people we’ve ever encountered. We keep saying we’ll come back to Corfu on our “second honeymoon” (Nate’s words), and we’re not joking. Honeymoooon part one in my absolute favorite city in the world with my favorite people in the world!!! Had so much fun and was so unplugged. It was healing to come back to London with my love and experience it through the eyes of one of my BFFs. 6 months married today!!

I was trying to write a very sweet and ambiguous caption but the truth is that Nate has pulled through as husband of the year as I have worked to navigate a difficult summer and fall. He does the laundry, the dishes, the yard work with a smile and “anything for you!”. He gives his own unfiltered advice and opinion when I need a redirection or a different point of view. He always asks “wanna go for a walk?”, knowing I’ll feel better when I don’t even know it. If the past 6 months have taught me anything, it’s that I’m so so so so glad we are on a team together and that you should marry the person who has your best interests in mind, knows what’s good for your heart (even when you’re too sad to see it yourself!!), and is your safe place to land!! taken in Washington D.
