This summer I interned for season 7 of The Chosen TV series!

While the crew worked hard to film season 7, I was fortunate to be a small part of it, helping on set in any way I could. My main role was working with the hair department; watching the process of each actor getting ready for their role and having their hair done. The process was more intricate than I thought, and the intentionality of every person can change everything about a film/TV show.
Some key take aways about the film industry
- It takes hard work and 12 hour+ days to do something great
- The people around you might have the next big idea for a successful film, so be the person they want to include and be open to all opportunities coming your way.
- Being ready to help in any capacity is better than *just* doing your job. I learned a lot about this, because I wasn’t very good at this at first🤣
Now that I’m home, I think I’m ready to keep doing what I love, which will probably be something exactly like this and beyond. by @caitlyn__shaw
