marked as Christs own forever “Place me like a seal over your heart, like a seal on your arm; for love is as strong as death, its jealousy unyielding as the grave. It burns like blazing fire, like a mighty flame.” ‭‭Song of Songs‬ ‭8:6‬ ‭NIV‬ I am sealed by the holy spirit in baptism and marked as Christ's own forever. today has been a day that i’ve been looking forward to awhile now. words cannot express how grateful i am to everyone and everything in Gods kingdom. here are a few words from my testimony that expressed why i decided to get baptized today, “So who is Jesus, and why is He important to me? Jesus is the love of my life. He sees me for me. He knows me apart from everyone, including one person in particular who looks a little too similar to me. Jesus sees me without all the burden that I carry. He gives me life and love and I am so excited to be baptized for Him. To make a public declaration that I am His. That I’m living my life for Him, and even though there will be waves of hard times in my life, I know that God will always be with me. I want to love what God loves, to desire what God desires. I want God’s words to become deeply ingrained in me. I want to seek God’s kingdom first and find true joy there. I want to be free from enslaving habits of sin and mature in Christ. I want God to transform me. I want God to bless others through me. And most importantly I thank God for sending His son, so all of this is possible. This is why I asked Jesus into my heart many years ago here at Camp Luz and this is why I would love to be baptized here as well. God sees me as His own and I want to be baptized as His own.” thank you to all that have helped me grow on my faith journey, you all have whether you know it or not i’m so excited for Gods plans. you all mean the world to me. 🤍🤍🤍 by @caitlynjoyce05
