Happy heavenly father’s day to the man that made me…me. So much of you lives within me and every day as I’ve grown older it’s only become more apparent. You gave me your grit, your strength, your smile that brightens any room. You taught me to be aware of everything & built an intuition in me that guides every step I take.

Everyone who has been on our journey with us has seen the tides of our relationship. You taught me forgiveness and unconditional love. You gave me the attitude & spice you weren’t always fond of, but knew you were just looking in the mirror. All of the best parts of me lead back to you, Dad.

I promise to show up as authentically as you everywhere I go, speak my truth no matter who the listener is, dance & sing without a care in the world, and love my people with my entire being.

The man, the myth, the legend. The mayor of every street he’s lived on. The realest man I’ll ever know. Thank you.

Wish I could squeeze you, laugh with you, argue with you, conspire with you just one more time. I was with you till the end & you’ll be with me forever. I love you doesn’t cut it.
