Starting an art biz is hard, but at least I look steezy while doing it.

Decided to sit down for a late night paint session to experiment with some techniques I don’t normally use. This is what came out of the process! Lots of texture that I feel adds so much character to the piece. Perfect for a cozy coastal home!

A week full of commissions and experimenting. Whether it’s my clothes or art, I’ll probably never lock in on just one style…maybe that’s my style?

As someone who loves getting creative in pretty much every area of my life, I’m always scavenging for unique pieces to bring into my home—or making them myself. One of my favorite pieces in the living room is the charcoal artwork I created from a deconstructed canvas and transformed into a wall hanging.

And yes, I would love to make you a wall hanging for your home ;)

Not much of a portrait gal, but we’re changing that

Also, this is me in a red sweater trying to summon Autumn in Southern California. 🍁

For everyone, this is a good practice for clearing the mind. But for my artist friends, it’s a reminder to sketch for fun! No pressure to sell, perform, or be perfect. Setting aside time for this has helped me avoid burnout throughout my journey of starting an art business.
