Being accepted into @theclass feels like a milestone I don’t want to rush past or gloss over. It represents the many layers of unpacking, the honest shadow work, and the depth I was willing to meet within myself to arrive here. This process asked for patience, courage, and a willingness to stay present with discomfort as much as growth.

What feels most important to name is that this isn’t an endpoint but rather a continuation. The work is alive, ongoing, and ever-unfolding, and I’m committed to meeting it with the same integrity and curiosity that brought me to this moment.

I hold deep gratitude for @rawbabysugar , @aimee_mere , and @jayceegossett , whose guidance, support, and witnessing were instrumental throughout this journey. Their presence helped create a container where real transformation could take place. I didn’t arrive here alone, and I’m thankful for every part of the process that shaped who I am stepping forward as now.

I am so excited to get to know and move with you all! You can find me:

•Wednesdays 10:30am — IPO Express
•Thursdays 12pm — Live

Holding a lot of gratitude for the path so far, and for what’s still unfolding.

Movement workshops are back this September. 🤍

After some time away, I’m really looking forward to opening up the space again - to move, explore, reconnect, and share in the joy of movement together.

A new season of workshops is coming. More details soon. ✨

Summer findings (an incomplete list):
• Paris proved that gluten-free adventures can still be delicious.
• Versailles reminded me that beauty can outlive centuries.
• Flowers continue to be overachievers.
• Evolution isn’t just biology, it’s a way of living.
• Horses still have better emotional intelligence than most humans.
• Movement will always be medicine.
• Memories are the best souvenir.
Turns out the best parts of summer aren’t always the itinerary - they’re the things that quietly change you along the way. ☀️ by @caityriggs

Living la vie en rose…and gold. ✨

Last weekend I finally got to rave at Le Grand Bal Masqué at Versailles like it was 1670. As someone who teaches salon work for a living this was truly magical. Despite some of the underwhelming factors, lack of theme and unfortunate thunderstorm that took place cancelling the light and fireworks show - we still had a marvelous time! Until we masqué again, Versailles. ✨🥂🪩 by @caityriggs

A little Monday momentum and musings.
A kiss and nod to what 2026 has offered me so far and a taste of poetry curated along the way.✨💌

Humility is not a summit
but a returning -
a quiet shedding,
what once held now loosening
without being forced.
I have known the body close to the ground,
listening through the belly,
moving in curves, in cautions -
the slow intelligence of release.
Now something shifts.
A restlessness gathers in the legs,
a widening through the chest -
as if motion is remembering me
before I begin.
I do not wait easily.
Stillness hums under the ribs,
a question I want to answer
with movement.
But something quieter says: stay.
Not every surge is a command.
Not every tension needs a door.
So I linger…
in the charged space
between holding and traveling,
between what is
and what has not yet opened.
And here,
almost imperceptibly,
the urgency softens.
Space appears.
And I wonder
if this, too, is enough -
this poised, unfinished becoming,
this learning to trust
what moves
before I understand it.

There’s a difference between seeing spring and participating in it. You can look at the budding trees, or you can walk beneath them. You can open a window, or you can step outside and let the air actually meet you. Participation is that small shift - from observing life to being inside it.
Moving your body is part of that. It’s how you say yes to the season. Your footsteps on the sidewalk, your breath in the cool air, your muscles loosening in the sun - it all becomes a kind of conversation with what’s changing around you.
You’re not separate from April. You’re part of the same quiet return.
So let’s breathe, stretch, shake and let the gripping that winter so intensely bound us by, go.
Next Workshop - Sunday, April 19th from 3pm to 5pm. ✨💐🩷

Ten years - an entire decade written in the quiet language of us. ❤️
This past year did not arrive gently. It asked more of us than we expected, carried weight we couldn’t always name, and led us through moments that tested the strength of what we’ve built. There were days when the light felt distant, when the path forward wasn’t clear…but even then, we stayed.
Because love, we’ve learned, is not only found in the easy laughter or the effortless days. It lives in the choosing - in the reaching for each other through the noise, in the patience we didn’t know we had, in the courage to grow side by side even when it’s uncomfortable.
We have bent, but we have not broken. We have learned the shape of each other’s hearts more deeply, and in doing so, found new ways to hold them with care.
Ten years in, and still, I choose you - through every season, every storm, every quiet sunrise that follows.
Here’s to the love that grows, that endures, that becomes more beautiful with time.
Happy 10 years to us. @danders_avis

As March approaches, something begins to shift. The light lingers. The air softens. And before the calendar confirms it, the body knows: change is coming. Movement this time of year is about answering that quiet inner pull toward renewal.
Winter asks us to contract - to rest, to conserve, to turn inward. But spring invites expansion. We feel it as the urge to stretch, to walk, to breathe more deeply. Movement becomes less about discipline and more about awakening.
The body holds what the season required. Tightness, stillness, quiet bracing. When we move both gently and intentionally, we begin to thaw. Blood circulates. Breath deepens. Energy that felt stagnant starts to flow again.
March is a threshold. Not fully winter, not fully spring. In this in-between space, movement becomes preparation. A reminder that we are not fixed. That we, too, are cyclical. That renewal begins in small acts: a roll of the shoulders, a walk in the lengthening light, a deliberate inhale.
Spring will come on its own. But we can meet it by choosing to move - not to become something else, but to come home to ourselves.
Next workshop: Sunday, March 8th 💚✨
Let’s move with might and madness.

When I move in the city, it feels like I’m carving out a small piece of wild inside all the concrete. In the middle of New York City - under the glow of streetlights and the hum of traffic - I stretch my arms wide and remember that my body still belongs to the earth.

The city lights flicker like their own kind of stars. And as I breathe in, standing between steel and sky, I can feel the same rhythm that moves through oceans and trees moving through me. My spine lengthens, my chest opens, and suddenly the noise softens. Even here, especially here, I am nature.

There’s something beautiful about opening your body in a place that never stops moving. Like you become part of the current - the pulse of the sidewalks, the glow in the windows, the quiet power humming beneath it all. Under the lights of New York, I move, and I remember: the wild doesn’t disappear in the city. It lives in us. 🌃 ✨
