I am your 7A 165 Women's Regional Champion!

I remember how I felt last year going 1-2 at regionals. I sat balled up crying for a straight 30 minutes outside of the A.L Brown auxiliary gym. Anyone who tried to talk to me, I told them to f off (sorry dylan!!) I did some serious self reflection. I worked all summer to be the best and to get to this point.

I'd first like to thank my coaches at Cox Mill, Coach Sheets, Stephens, Chuck, and Frank for being in my corner every tournament and dual.

I'd also like to thank my clubs @harrisburgwrestlingclub and @wranglerwrestlingnc for helping me with technique and pushing me during off season

I'd like to thank Coach Tom, Coach Shulman, Coach Deontae, and all my club coaches for helping perfect my technique.

I'd also like to thank my practice partners for helping me be great!!

This isn't the end, its just the beginning.

i am your women's 7A 165 state champion!

it took me so long to post this because i honestly didnt know what to say. going from 1-2 at regionals to a state champ is a big jump in one year. I ended the season 24-3 with no regrets.

i have so many people to thank for getting me to this point. so yes, its going to be paragraph central 🌚

first, id like to thank all my school and club coaches for getting me to this point. the amount of hours yall worked with me paid off. thank you for always believing in me even when i didnt. all 12 of you helped me get to this point.

second, id like to thank deyari. you helped me through this tournament i had never been to before. whether it was holding my stuff, chilling with me, warming up with me, making sure im confident in myself, or carrying me off the floor and into the tunnel while i was cramping. you helped me more than you could ever imagine. you are the best. thank you for not dropping me when i jumped on you after winning (😂). i think everyone needs a deyari in their life. i hope nothing but great things for you in the future. 🫶

third, id like to thank my wrestling partner sienna for wrestling with me even through days I didnt want to wrestle. together, we qualified for states!

fourth, id like to thank the cox mill wrestling team for giving me an opportunity to be in the room and be on the team. we took a big step forward in the program this year and I look forward to taking even more in the future.

lastly, id like to thank my parents and family for being there even though yall hate watching me wrestle because you think I'll get hurt. 😂😂

the journey isn't over yet, it has only just started. come with me on the journey to ms. 3x.

NHSCA Duals...what a time

first off, id like to thank my coaches for the opportunity to be on such an amazing team. we were amazing, and I learned so much from you guys.

second, id like to thank all my teammates for being the best team I have ever been on. thank you nicole, ella, emma, veronika, p liddy, legend, riley kate, kaylah, rylynn, and bella for making my time at nationals the best ever. the memories I have made with yall will forever be with me.

third, with a heavy heart, I will be taking a hiatus from wrestling due to my declining health conditions. I felt sick this whole tournament and I could not breathe in one of my matches and even went unconscious in the last match of the day. I love this sport however, my health comes first.

overall, this tournament taught me alot of things and I will come back even better than I was last year.
