Alto astral is a Brazilian expression for an elevated mood, a higher frequency. Alto Optica borrows that spirit and adds a lens to it. Literally.

After years spent as a brand strategist and creative director, thinking about how things look and, more importantly, why they feel the way they do, it seemed only right to get behind the lens and give photography a proper go.

Happy to say that bookings are now open - just slide on into my DMs (: by @cajoudigital

Strategic support and a collection of super fun reels for the one and only @ozaleeofficial

Thalia, a breath of fresh air and founder of OZALÉE knew she wanted to take her brand to the next level, an part of that was to celebrate the multiple facets of being a woman. Her latest collection RIVIERA HEAT is all things feminine in the most gorgeous and unapologetic way.

Thalia I’m a huge fan of yours I can’t wait to see what’s next!

Also show some love for the amazing @yashwinning and his heat defying camera! by @cajoudigital

There's a particular kind of grief when you see someone else launch the thing you'd been sitting on. The concept, the aesthetic, uncomfortably close to what you'd been almost ready to do for months now. What's worse? It was probably a coincidence.

In 1876, Alexander Graham Bell and Elisha Gray walked into the US patent office on the same day, each filing a patent for the telephone, the same invention. Neither had copied the other.

Multiple Discovery; The theory, extensively documented by sociologist Robert Merton, holds that most significant breakthroughs emerge independently, at roughly the same time, across multiple people who have never compared notes.

Newton and Leibniz both invented calculus. Darwin and Wallace both arrived at natural selection simultaneously. The periodic table. The telescope. The conservation of energy. All of them discovered more than once, by people working in complete isolation.

Why? Ideas are products of their environment. When the cultural conditions are right, the same gaps become visible to many people at once. The same influences, the same problems, the same moment, converging toward the same answer in different rooms.

Think about the last time you spotted a gap in your market, a type of brand no one was building, a conversation no one was having, a service that should obviously exist. That instinct didn't arrive in a vacuum. It came from the same cultural conditions, the same saturation points, the same frustrations that everyone operating in that space is absorbing. Which means the person across town, or across the island, who has been steeped in the same environment, they felt it too.

What matters is the decision to act.

The only idea that belongs to you is the one you've acted on. Multiple discovery teaches us that the idea itself is rarely yours alone. The conditions that produced it are shared. The cultural moment belongs to everyone in it. History remembers those who moved.

So move. by @cajoudigital

CAJOU was built for brands that refuse to be ordinary. We are strategists, storytellers, and creatives who believe that the right brand identity doesn’t just open doors; it kicks them down.

Our work is bold by design, intentional by nature, and always, unapologetically hot. by @cajoudigital

Clara is an absolute ray of sunshine. I mean that literally and without exaggeration. She is one of those people who makes everything around her feel a little warmer, a little more possible.

OYA is her boutique travel brand; curated journeys to tropical destinations, designed for travellers who move with intention and want to feel genuinely transported. The brief was beautiful. The references were considered. And from the very first moodboard, we were already in the same world.

The sun showed up everywhere, in the mood, in the palette, in Clara herself, so it became the icon. It couldn’t have been anything else. The wordmark is hand-drawn, which felt like the only honest choice for a brand this human.

This brand is an ode to her as much as it is a visual identity. Clara, you are OYA. 🌞 by @cajoudigital

Here is a little peek into what we’ve been up to since the beginning of the year - here’s hoping I can be consistent on monthly recaps going forward.

This year the focus is to grow the CAJOU world more intentionally and to focus on working with clients I feel truly aligned with.

I’m very aware of how lucky I am to work in this industry and to genuinely love what I do.

P.S the last slide here is something I’m particularly excited about. 💙 by @cajoudigital

MOJO’s visual identity was built around a custom logotype, designed from the ground up to echo the way they approach their furniture: considered, crafted, and entirely their own. The letterforms are made up of deliberate angles and soft curves that mirror the tension between structure and fluidity in their pieces.

Every glyph in the wordmark was constructed specifically for MOJO, rather than adapted from an existing typeface, because a brand that makes everything from scratch deserved a typographic language born from the same principle. The result is a piece that feels architectural yet human, with forms that hold their own in a catalogue spread while remaining understated enough to sit gently alongside the work itself.

Developing the broader identity around this logotype meant building a system that could stretch from print to digital while preserving that sense of crafted clarity. The logo became an anchor for a visual world that foregrounds materiality, proportion, the natural world and negative space, elements that already sit at the heart of MOJO’s design philosophy.

On a personal level, this project is one I am genuinely proud of. I am endlessly grateful to have the opportunity to collaborate with passionate creatives like the team behind MOJO and with Lars, whose work I had admired long before we began working together.

There is so much more to come from this remarkable team. Pinch me now!
