Congratulations on signing with The University of Georgia & selection to the U.S. Army All American Bowl, Ekene Ogboko @drippy.ekene

Ekene Ogboko is a highly-touted five (5)-star offensive tackle from the Class of 2026. He played high school football and basketball for South Garner High School in Garner, North Carolina.

Ekene recently committed to the University of Georgia, choosing them over other prominent programs like Clemson, Florida, and Notre Dame. His decision to join the Bulldogs is significant for their offensive line future, and he will be joining his older brother, Nnamdi Ogboko, who is a redshirt freshman defensive lineman for Georgia.

Ogboko is noted for his size (around 6-foot-8, 280-310 pounds), raw power, impressive footwork, and versatility, with scouting reports suggesting he has the potential to be a multi-year starter and even an NFL Draft prospect. South Garner High School to Host College Commitment Announcement for 4-Star LT Ekene Ogboko

Durham, NC – BCT is proud to announce that senior student-athlete, Ekene Ogboko, will publicly declare his commitment to attend and play football at one of his top four collegiate choices.

The highly anticipated announcement will take place on Wednesday, June 18th, 2025 at 1:00 PM sharp at South Garner High School.

Ekene Ogboko has narrowed his decision to four prestigious football programs: the University of Notre Dame, the University of Florida, the University of Georgia, and Clemson University.

“This is a momentous occasion for Ekene and our entire BCT community,” said Hanif Omar, founder of Bull City Thunder.

“Ekene has demonstrated exceptional dedication and talent both on the field and in the classroom, and we are incredibly proud to celebrate this significant step in his academic and athletic journey.”
