A Mother’s Day reminder:

Strong and soft can exist in the same body.
This body has carried life, stretched, changed, healed, and fought its way through a weightloss journey losing over 80 lbs. It has loose skin, stretch marks, scars, and stories — and none of those things make it less beautiful; less capable; less important.

Imagine letting a single thing about your appearance define who you are as a person? Imagine leaving out the things that people love about you the most? Your heart, you humour, you laugher, your humility, your honesty, your perseverance.

You are so much more than the body that houses all of your most important qualities. Don’t forget it! by @cake.cpt
